Tim Allan

Tim Allan has worked in the technology and finance industries since 2005. Tim began their career at The Adecco Group as a Management Accountant, then a Commissions Analyst, followed by Systems Accountant, Business Intelligence Manager and Business Intelligence & Systems Accounting Manager. In 2022, they joined Sprint Enterprise Technology as a Senior SQL Developer. Throughout their career, they have developed technical skills in SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), Power BI, Power Query, Cognos, PL/SQL, VBA, Access, Excel, Oracle PL/SQL, TOAD for Oracle, Peoplseoft, nVision, and MS Access VBA. Their duties have included managing teams, preparing monthly internal P&Ls, and ensuring teams are staffed, trained, and skilled at producing required reporting.

Tim Allan completed a BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences in Physics and Astronomy from The Open University between 2011 and 2015. Since then, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn, Microsoft, edX, and Coursera, including C# Essential Training 1: Types and Control Flow, Learning C#, SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, CPP.PRG.1: Introduction to Programming in C++, Machine Learning, DAT207x: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI, DA0101EN: Analyzing Data with Python, PY0101EN: Python 101 for Data Science, DAT201x: Querying with Transact-SQL, DAT206x: Excel for Data Analysis and Visualization, and MSOMS: Microsoft Office 2013 Master Specialist.
