Rex Walker

Rex is director of safety, overseeing all aspects of Sprint Waste’s health, safety and environmental program. Rex joined the company in 2010 after a more than 25-year career in law enforcement serving as a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper. He has performed federal Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections on commercial vehicles and has deep federal regulatory experience and knowledge. Rex graduated from the Texas Department of Public Safety Training Academy in 1985 after earning a bachelor of science degree in agriculture from Texas A&M University.
