Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and financial analysis within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Technician at Sproule, responsibilities include conducting engineering evaluations for North American and international clients. Chris previously held roles as a Senior Reservoir Engineering Technician at Axia Energy III, LLC, and Caerus Oil and Gas LLC, focusing on economic evaluations for acquisitions and divestitures. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Reservoir Engineering Technologist at Crestone Peak Resources, where database management of corporate reserves was key, and as an Investment Banking Technologist at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., providing technical analysis supporting upstream transactions. A graduate of Colorado School of Mines with a Master’s in Mineral Economics and a Bachelor’s in Geology from James Madison University, Chris has also launched a consulting website, DenverReservoirTech, to further support the reservoir engineering field.
