Don Xu, P.Eng. is an accomplished Senior Petroleum Engineer at Sproule since 2018, with a robust background in reservoir engineering. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Reservoir Engineer at IHS GLOBAL CANADA LTD. from 2008 to 2017, where Don Xu led reservoir engineering analysis and developed strategies for various reservoirs, including gas and shale gas. As Senior Reservoir Engineer at Teknica Petroleum Services Ltd. from 2006 to 2008, Don Xu integrated geoscience and engineering studies for conventional reservoirs, achieving optimization in the Balat field. Earlier roles include Reservoir & Production Engineer at ConocoPhillips China Inc. from 2004 to 2005, focusing on offshore production engineering and optimization. Don Xu holds a Bachelor of Science in Reservoir Engineering from China University of Petroleum.
