Kristina Truong

Kristina Truong has over 20 years of experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting. Kristina began their career in 1999 as an Accounting Manager at P-Com. Kristina then moved to Com21 in 2000 as a Senior General Accounting Manager, where they were responsible for corporate accounting, revenue recognition, consolidations, and SEC reporting. In 2003, they joined Credence Systems Corporation as Director of Accounting, where they had worldwide responsibility for corporate accounting, consolidation, operational financial support, revenue recognition, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance. Kristina was also involved in the recapitalization of convertible debt and the accounting of sale/leaseback of the company's headquarters. In 2008, they became the Director of Accounting at Cortina Systems, where they were responsible for general accounting, revenue recognition, consolidation, internal and external reporting, and IPO/SEC reporting. From 2012 to 2016, they were the Controller at Ellie Mae, Inc., where they were responsible for corporate accounting, general tax compliance, SEC reporting, software/SaaS revenue recognition, treasury, and SOX compliance. Kristina also evaluated and restructured the accounting department, including defining job responsibilities for each staff as well as training, developing, and supervising. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Corporate Controller at Aviat Networks. Since 2018, they have been the Corporate Controller at Outset Medical, Inc., and most recently at Spruce Biosciences in 2020.

Kristina Truong obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Capital University in 1993. Kristina also holds a Certified Public Accountant certification.
