Shawn Price

Shawn Price has extensive work experience in the field of radon and environmental technology. Shawn began their career in 1989 as a Geologist at Research Triangle Institute. Shawn then worked at Sanford Cohen & Associates as a Program Manager from 1993 to 1998. In 1998, they joined Air Chek, Inc. as the National Sales Manager, a role they held until May 2014.

In 2008, Price became involved with the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST), serving as the Blue Ridge Chapter President from 2008 to 2010 and later as the Vice President from 2009 to 2011. Shawn was also the President-Elect from 2011 to 2012 and served as the President from 2012 to 2016.

Starting in 2011, Price began their involvement with the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST), serving as the President-Elect from 2011 to 2012. Shawn joined Spruce Environmental Technologies, Inc. in 2015 as the Market Development Manager and was later promoted to Director of Laboratory Operations in March 2017, a role they currently hold. Throughout their career, Price has demonstrated leadership and expertise in the radon and environmental technology field.

Shawn Price attended Weber State College from 1984 to 1986. However, the degree and field of study are unspecified. Subsequently, from 1986 to 1989, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
