Christian Dale Sanchez has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they were a member of the San Jose City Youth Council, where they represented the voice of 250,000 youth in the city of San Jose. During this time, they planned, lead, and facilitated weekly meetings teaching the youth about civic involvement and political development, and worked with city council members, the city mayor, and city leaders to better the community through civic involvement and community project planning. From 2013 to 2016, they held various roles at Clarks, Olive Garden, YMCA of Silicon Valley, and YMCA of the East Bay. At Clarks, they sold $1000+ worth of shoes and merchandise per day, and was recognized for most upsells in the California region on two occasions. At Olive Garden, they achieved the top 3 performer (out of 50 servers) within three months into the role and stayed in the top 10 for the rest of the year. At YMCA of Silicon Valley, they trained new staff and helped the supervisor with administrative responsibilities, and facilitated 1 hour bootcamp classes every Saturday morning. At YMCA of the East Bay, they trained new coaches/trainers on how to effectively engage with members/clients, matched new clients with personal trainers based on client’s needs and trainer’s specialization, and analyzed personal training trends, presenting logistics to facility directors, and advised directors on how to improve the personal training program. From 2018 to 2019, they held various roles at Collective Health and Spruce Health. At Collective Health, they managed 15-20 cases at a time solving complicated member/patient inquiries regarding eligibility, denied claims, billing issues, health saving accounts, and much more. At Spruce Health, they held roles such as Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager, and Senior Strategic Account Manager. In these roles, they acquired/onboarded new clients, supported/taught existing clients on how to improve patient access to care through different channels of communication, presented the product to 1-8 healthcare providers at a time, created, analyzed, and reported Salesforce and Looker data, and suggested product/workflow improvements based on findings. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Vice Executive of the Pilipino Association for Health Careers-UC Berkeley, where they managed and facilitated an internship program for 50 pre-health students at UC Berkeley, created and presented presentation slide decks at every weekly intern meeting promoting academic, social, and professional development, and matched 30 undergraduate students with healthcare professional mentors.
Christian Dale Sanchez has a diverse educational background. Christian Dale received their B.A. in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017. Prior to that, they earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma from San Jose High School in 2013. Christian Dale also obtained a Personal Trainer Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine in 2015 and is currently working towards a Strength Coach Level 1 Certification from Eleiko. Additionally, Sanchez has obtained certifications in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Overcoming Cognitive Bias, and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in 2020.
