Michael Christie is an experienced professional in intellectual property law and biotechnology, currently serving as a Board Member at BioNSW since February 2024 and as a Principal Patent Attorney at Spruson & Ferguson from May 2020. With a long-standing involvement in various organizations, Michael has been a member of AIPPI's Standing Committee for Pharma and Biotechnology since February 2017 and has provided consultancy services at IP Australia as a Qualified Person for Plant Breeder's Rights since December 2014. Michael has authored commentary on the Plant Breeder's Rights Act 1994 for LexisNexis and actively contributes to the Australian Intellectual Property Law Bulletin.
