Oleksandr Galych

Oleksandr Galych has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Oleksandr is currently working at Spryker as the VP of Engineering, a position they started in August 2022. Prior to this, they held roles at Spryker including Senior Director of Product Engineering, Director of Product Engineering, Head of Engineering, Senior Engineering Manager, Lead Engineering Architect, and Senior Software Engineer.

Before joining Spryker, Galych worked at Ciklum as a Software Engineer / Team Leader from June 2014 to March 2016. Oleksandr also had a similar role at symmetrics gmbh during the same period.

Galych's earlier work experience includes positions as a Web Developer at Zfort Group from June 2013 to June 2014, a PHP Developer at AppDragon Inc. from February 2013 to June 2013, and a Web Developer at Suimm Group from February 2012 to February 2013.

In addition, Galych worked as a Software Engineer (C/ C++ embedded Linux) at Triolan from June 2011 to December 2011.

Oleksandr Galych obtained a Master's degree in Information Operating Systems and Technologies from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in 2013. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same university in 2012. Before entering university, Oleksandr attended Krasnokutsky Gymnasium from 1998 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Basic Data Protection Training from SMARTDPO in August 2020, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in February 2019, and Magento Developer Plus from Magento in 2015.
