Makarand Karanjalkar

Makarand Karanjalkar is an experienced technology leader and blockchain expert serving as CEO and Co-Founder at Sprytech Ltd since April 2019, focusing on distributed network architecture and blockchain applications, along with smart contract development and security assessments. Prior roles include serving as an Ambassador for Hedera Hashgraph and as a Blockchain & Security Architect for Thomas Cook, overseeing blockchain-based security initiatives and e-commerce architecture. Makarand has also held positions such as Lead Security Architect for Perform Group, Senior Security Consultant for MTS, and Mobile and Cloud Security Architect for Transport for London, contributing to diverse security solutions and mobile communication projects throughout a career spanning over two decades. Makarand holds degrees in Blockchain Strategy from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Telecom with Business from UCL.
