Paresh Patel

Paresh Patel has extensive work experience in the field of product management and development. Paresh is currently employed as a Product Manager at SPT Labtech since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Avacta as a Technical Product Manager, Diagnostics from September 2021 to February 2023. In this role, they developed new IVD products, produced business cases and roadmap, and conducted market analysis. From September 2019 to August 2021, Paresh was a Global Product Manager at Brooks Life Sciences. Here, they developed and launched new products, managed the entire product life cycle, and provided technical support and training to the sales team. Before that, they worked as an IVD Product Development Scientist at DNA Electronics from July 2017 to September 2019. In this role, they developed blood stream infection IVD tests using multiplex PCR platform-on-chip and conducted internal audits as per ISO 13485 QMS. Paresh also has experience at GE Healthcare as a Molecular Biologist from June 2010 to July 2017. Here, they led new product development, optimized molecular biology genomics products, and applied Six Sigma and FastWorks methodologies. Additionally, Paresh worked as a Scientist at Q Chip Ltd from May 2009 to June 2010, where they were involved in the development of sustained release depot formulations and the investigation of drug release methods.

Paresh Patel completed their Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Lancashire. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Applied Biomolecular Technology from the University of Nottingham. In addition to their formal education, Patel obtained additional certifications, including ISO 13485 Internal Auditor from LRQA in September 2018 and Green Belt Lean Six Sigma from GE Healthcare in June 2014.
