Colin Morris has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Colin started their most recent position in 2021 as a Senior Program Manager at Spectrum Comm Inc. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Reform Lead Analyst at the same company. In 2020, Colin worked as a Quality Analyst at Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries.

In 2018, Colin joined Air Combat Command where they served as the Associate Director of Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection. Colin held various responsibilities in this role, including interfacing with senior logistics leaders throughout the USAF and performing duties as the Director of Staff for 10 divisions.

Colin's prior experience includes serving as the Senior Maintenance Director at the 20th Maintenance Group from 2016 to 2018, where they led a workforce maintaining F-16 aircraft. Colin also served as the Senior Maintenance Director at the 380th Expeditionary Maintenance Group from 2015 to 2016, leading a team responsible for maintaining multiple fighter, refueler, and C2ISR platforms in a combat environment.

In 2014, Colin worked for the USAF as the Sustainment Division Chief, managing facility maintenance and operations at a national pre-flight test center. Earlier in their career, from 2011 to 2014, they served as the Senior Joint Doctrine Development Officer at the Joint Chiefs of Staff, responsible for the assessment and development of joint and allied doctrine for the CJCS.

Colin Morris has a diverse educational background. Colin obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Government from Florida State University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Management at The George Washington University from 1999 to 2001. In 2006 to 2007, Colin attended the US Marine Corps University, where they earned a Masters of Military Science degree. Additionally, they completed the JWCS JPME II program in 2011.

Colin's educational journey showcases a focus on political science, government, organizational management, and military studies. Furthermore, Colin has also obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In December 2021, they completed the "Becoming a Great Conversationalist" certification from LinkedIn, as well as the "Selling Into Industries: Government" certification, also from LinkedIn.
