Tara Doyle

Tara is the Chairperson of Matheson. She is also head of Matheson’s Asset Management and Investment Funds Department. Tara has spent her entire career at Matheson joining the firm as a trainee in 1994, qualifying as a solicitor in 1997 and becoming a partner in 2002. Tara has served as chair of Matheson’s graduate recruitment programme since 2002 and is also a member of Matheson’s Impactful Business Programme Steering Committee.

Tara was elected to the Council of the Law Society of Ireland in November 2020. She serves on the Law Society’s Regulation of Practice Committee and Finance Committee. Tara has previously served as Chair of the Irish Funds Industry Association for the 2017 / 2018 term and served on its Council from 2015 to 2019. She currently serves as Chair of the Irish Funds ESG Policy, Legal & Regulatory Working Group. Tara is also a member of the EFAMA Stewardship, Market Integrity, ESG Investment Standing Committee.
