SPUR
Carolyn Chung is an experienced engagement manager currently working at SPUR since July 2023. Previously, Carolyn held multiple roles at the East Bay Agency for Children from May 2016 to August 2021, including program manager and resource coordinator, where strategic partnerships were developed to provide services to over 1000 clients annually and significant funding was secured during pandemic school closures. Carolyn's teaching career encompasses various roles, including freelance English teacher and English language instructor at institutions in Spain, as well as experience in tutoring and educational support for low-income students in the U.S. Carolyn holds a Master of Arts in Bilingual and Multilingual Education from Universidad de Alcalá and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Educational Studies from UC Irvine.
