Jack Sylvan is the founder and managing principal of SDG, LLC, a San Francisco-based investment and development company specializing in complex mixed-use projects. With over 25 years of real estate investment and development experience, Jack has led transformational projects totaling more than 16 million square feet in the San Francisco Bay Area. Previously, Jack served as Senior Vice President of Development at Brookfield Properties, overseeing major redevelopment projects and negotiations with various stakeholders. Jack also held a key role in the San Francisco Mayor’s Office, managing large public-private development projects, including the Treasure Island redevelopment. Jack's educational background includes a BS in Environmental Design and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from UC Davis, along with a Master's in Urban Planning from UC Berkeley.
