Michelle Chang has extensive experience in environmental science and data management, currently serving as the Development Operations Manager, Membership Program and Data Manager, and Development Contractor at SPUR since August 2018. Previously, Michelle worked as a Biologist at the U.S. Geological Survey from May 2012 to April 2017, managing web applications and workflow processes. Prior roles include Research Assistant at Matthew Potoski, Community Engagement and Outreach Assistant at DataONE University, Data Science Intern at DataONE, and Junior Research Specialist at UC Irvine and UC Berkeley. Michelle holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science & Management from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UC Irvine.
