Colin Jones

Colin Jones serves as the Head of Finance at Wells Cathedral School since March 2023 and is a Board Trustee and Finance Chair (designate) for Spurgeons from July 2023. Colin has been a Mental Health First Aid Champion for MHFA England® since May 2023 and a Listening Volunteer for Samaritans since March 2021. In addition, Colin holds the position of Honorary Treasurer for Streetwise Opera, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals who have experienced homelessness. Previous roles include Chief Financial & Operating Officer at Blackburn Cathedral (2021-2022), Governor and Chair of the Finance & Resources Committee at St John's Church of England Primary School, Watford (2020-2022), and Director at Candid Compass Ltd (2018-2021). Colin's educational background includes a BSc in Animal Sciences from Wye College and attendance at Ysgol y Strade, Llanelli.
