Digital Designer at SPURGEONS

Kana Raja is a multidisciplinary creative with a foundation in Electronic Engineering, having graduated from the University of Warwick in 2019. Following her studies, she spent three years in Human Resources at leading tech firms including NTT Data, CityDoc, and Starling Bank. Alongside her corporate role, she built a successful freelance design practice under the name STUDIO KA IL, working with over 100 international clients on a wide range of projects—from branding and digital assets to print materials and visual campaigns.

In 2022, Kana transitioned into design full time, starting as a Junior Graphic Designer at Swingers Golf, part of a popular competitive socialising brand. In 2023, she became the sole Graphic Designer at Spurgeons, a prominent national children’s charity. In this role, Kana led the organisation’s visual direction—developing cohesive brand assets, marketing campaigns, social media content, and the complete aesthetic framework for its digital products. In 2025, she moved from the Marketing team into the Digital Family Hub as a Digital Designer, expanding her expertise to include User Interface and Interaction Design.
