Georgina Purdy has over a decade of experience in communications and public relations. Georgina is currently the Director of Communications at Spurwing Communications. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Communications for International Markets at Gojek and held the role of International Communications Lead. Georgina also gained valuable experience as an Associate Director and Account Director at Ogilvy, where they specialized in PR, influence, and social media. Georgina started their career at Ogilvy UK as an Account Executive and worked their way up to Account Director. Additionally, they achieved notable accomplishments as a 2-time Guinness World Record breaker and transatlantic ocean rower for the World's Toughest Row, raising substantial funds for Plan International's "Because I Am a Girl" campaign.
Georgina Purdy attended Burford School from 2003 to 2010. Georgina then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Archaeology, with a focus on Ancient History and Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology, at The University of Manchester from 2011 to 2014.
