Cathy Breen

Senator Cathy Breen has lived in the Portland area since 2000 and joined the Spurwink Board in 2013 and Chairs the Governance Committee. Cathy is the Maine State Senator for District 25. She has served on the Falmouth Town Council as well as on the Board of Directors of Community Counseling Center, and graduated from the Institute for Civic Leadership’s intensive training in collaborative leadership. Her experience in organizational development, strategic planning, fundraising, policy development, writing, advocacy, and mental health care supports her commitment to improve mental and behavioral health services for children and their families.
