Matei Dragos Ivan

Matei Dragos Ivan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matei Dragos started their career as a Managing Partner at Ivan Construct SRL from 2005 to 2010. Matei Dragos then worked as a Consultant at DLA Piper, where they performed valuation of a mining project using various methods and conducted financial modeling and analysis from 2012 to 2013. Matei then joined Maersk Oil Trading as a Financial Controller from 2013 to 2015. More recently, they have held various positions at SPX FLOW, Inc., including Senior FP&A Analyst from 2015 to 2018, Manager of Global Business Finance from 2018 to 2022, and Director of Business Transformation and Data Analytics from 2022 to present. In their current role at SPX FLOW, Inc., Matei is the Director of FP&A and Data Analytics.

Matei Dragos Ivan received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from Bucharest University of Economic Studies in 2008. Matei Dragos then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and International Business from Aarhus School of Business in 2012. During the same period, they also earned a Master Degree in Management and International Business from The University of Montana - College of Business. In terms of certifications, Matei obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) designation from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2018. Matei Dragos also holds the IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate, obtained in 2020.
