Richard F. Cope

Richard F. Cope is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in process development and fluid mixing. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineering Consultant at SPX FLOW, Inc. since April 2020, Richard collaborates with clients to address mixing challenges and implement innovative solutions. Prior roles include Principal Engineer in Process Development at Alkermes, where Richard led a research team in advancing extended-release microsphere processes, and Associate Engineering Advisor at Eli Lilly and Company, focusing on the development of continuous processes for small-molecule APIs. Richard's career began at The Dow Chemical Company, where significant contributions included the creation of innovative mixing systems and improvements in resin plant yield as a Six Sigma Blackbelt. Richard holds a PhD, MS, and BS in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
