Chase Hammons

Chase Hammons has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Chase currently serves as a Security Engineer at SpyCloud since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior SOAR Engineer at Marriott International from May to July 2022. Before that, Chase worked as a Consultant in Deployment & Integration at Trellix from October 2021 to May 2022. Chase also gained experience as an Associate Consultant in SIEM/SOAR at Mandiant from August 2020 to October 2021.

In addition, Chase has held multiple roles at ReliaQuest starting from May 2019, where they worked as an Associate SIEM Content Developer until November 2019. Chase then was promoted to a Senior SIEM Content Developer and held the position until August 2020.

Chase's earlier experience includes serving as a Global Information Security Intern at PACCAR from May to August 2018. Chase also worked at the University of Nevada, Reno in various roles such as Student Web Developer from October 2014 to December 2018, Student Security Analyst from January to May 2018, and Student Information Security Developer from May to December 2017.

Chase Hammons completed their education from 2010 to 2014 at Willow Glen High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma. After that, they attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Chase has also obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner through Amazon Web Services (AWS). In October 2020, they completed the "Google Cloud Platform Essential Training" course offered by LinkedIn. Chase also obtained the certification for "Implementing and Administering Azure Sentinel" in the same month from LinkedIn. Furthermore, they achieved the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft in March 2021. Lastly, in September 2022, they became a "Cribl Certified Observability Engineer Stream User" after completing the relevant certification provided by Cribl.
