Dave has been an innovator in the launch and expansion of startup businesses for over two decades, including Kernel, a media technology company that was eventually sold in 2016 to NBC-Universal. Kernel became well-known for distributing the movie THE INTERVIEW after Sony was hacked by North Korea.
Dave has served as Assistant Secretary in the office of cybersecurity at the U.S. Department of Energy where he oversaw national labs cyber R&D and cybersecurity for the U.S. energy grid. Previously he was Vice Chairman of BlueVoyant, a global cybersecurity firm. Dave co-authored a report on Huawei 5G vulnerabilities which made headlines around the world and is currently the subject of multiple Congressional hearings.
