Marc Willebeek-LeMair

Marc Willebeek-LeMair is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the cybersecurity sector, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Spyderbat since January 2020. Previously, Marc held positions as Chief Sabbatical Officer from February 2018 to January 2020, Chief Strategy Officer and VP of Product Management at Alert Logic from April 2016 to February 2018, and Founder and Chairman of Click Security from December 2009 to April 2016, where innovative approaches to incident response were developed. Marc was also the Chairman, CEO, and Founder of 3Com from 2005 to 2009, improving products after the acquisition of TippingPoint, which Marc co-founded in 1999 and served as CTO until 2005, pioneering Intrusion Prevention Systems. Marc’s early career at IBM, where significant advancements in multimedia systems and networking technologies occurred, laid a strong foundation for subsequent achievements in cybersecurity. Marc holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a BS with Distinction in Engineering from George Mason University.
