Matthew Jacobson

Matthew Jacobson is an experienced investor and board member with a focus on technology and growth sectors. Currently serving as an Investor at DeepL since April 2024, Jacobson has been a Partner at ICONIQ Capital since September 2013, where involvement includes participation in both the Executive and Management Committees. As a General Partner at ICONIQ Growth, Jacobson contributes to various high-profile companies, including Datadog and Snowflake, where Jacobson held the position of Lead Investor for Series D and E rounds and served on the board from 2017 to 2020. Additional board roles include GitLab Inc., Miro, Braze, Relativity, BambooHR, and Collibra, where Jacobson acts as Board Chair. An alumnus of The Wharton School, Jacobson holds a BS in Finance and Management, earned between 2002 and 2006.
