Stijn Christiaens

Stijn (Stan) Christiaens is a co-founder and Chief Data Citizen at Collibra, where leadership is demonstrated in shaping the company's data strategy, infrastructure, and innovation initiatives. With a history at Collibra including roles as co-founder and CTO, as well as COO, Stan has been integral to developing the company's Data Governance solutions that enhance Master Data Management and Business Intelligence. Previous experience includes a researcher position at STARLab, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and a software engineer role at De Clercq Engineering. Stijn holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', along with postgraduate education in Industrial Corporate Governance from Ehsal Brussel.
