Kelly Routh

Kelly Routh's work experience starts with their current role as a Senior Product Manager at Squadformers, which they began in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Upwork, where they held several roles. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for researching, designing, and launching new features for the marketplace. Kelly also owned all Trust & Safety products and partnered with engineering to build a real-time detection platform. From 2017 to 2019, Kelly was a Product Manager, focusing on improving various features such as local search and match, budget estimator tools, and proposal flow for freelancers. Kelly was also a Sr. Program Manager in Trust & Safety from 2016 to 2017, owning freelancer and client supply and outcome metrics. In this role, they influenced and led the organization through crisp data storytelling and received recognition for their success. Lastly, from 2015 to 2016, they were a Program Manager in Trust & Safety at Upwork.

Prior to their time at Upwork, Kelly worked at Métiér, Ltd. from 2010 to 2014. Kelly started as an Analyst, responsible for developing technical requirements for business intelligence reports and supporting the QA team in testing releases. Kelly was also the first service team member to be certified by the sales team to provide demonstrations to prospects and supported the sales team with RFI documents and requirement/demonstration scripts. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Consultant, leading the design and rollout of product features and acting as a dedicated Customer Success Manager. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Senior Consultant, managing and leading SaaS implementations of project management software and developing functional requirements for software integrations.

Kelly began their career in 2009 as a Public Service Agent at UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Kelly Routh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from UCLA. In 2010, they obtained a certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) from the Project Management Institute.
