Candice Somerville

Candice Somerville is an accomplished environmental management professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Environmental Manager at Squadron Energy since January 2024, Candice previously held the position of Environmental Approvals Manager at Gamuda Australia from September 2022 to January 2024. Candice's earlier roles include Senior Environmental Management Consultant at Jacobs, where work involved a secondment as the Sydney Metro Southwest Environment Manager. Candice has also contributed significantly to various infrastructure projects as both Senior Environmental Advisor and Environmental Manager at UGL Limited, overseeing the implementation and compliance of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) across multiple locations and projects. Candice started in environmental management as a Junior in Environmental Management at Hewlett-Packard and holds advanced degrees in Environment and Ecology from Paris-Sud University and Concordia University.
