Scott Shafer

As Vice President of Strategic Development, Scott oversees and drives matters on new business, new processes, resourcing strategy, capacity planning, and corporate development for SQUAN across all lines of business. Scott joined SQUAN in 2022 after 15 progressive years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He has been involved in most major FTTx deployments in the US on both the supplier and the carrier sides, working internally at MSOs, CLECs, and top EPC vendors alike to develop deployment strategies and network architectures. As an entrepreneur, Scott also founded and later sold his own telecommunications engineering and consulting services company based on his ideals of solutions-oriented, servant leadership.

Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas where he majored in Economics and minored in Education. He also has memberships in BICSI, SCTE, and PMI where he also holds credentials as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
