Prior to founding Square Capital in June 2005, Hugues Decobert served as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs International from 1996 to 2005. Hugues Decobert holds an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, earned between 1995 and 1997, and a degree from HEC Paris, obtained from 1988 to 1991.
