Peter Horvath

Peter Horvath has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Peter is currently employed as the Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations at Square Enix since June 2023. Previously, they held the position of Senior Technical Operations Manager at Square Enix from April 2021 to July 2023. Before joining Square Enix, Peter worked at Eidos-Montréal as a Senior DevOps Specialist from January 2017 to January 2020. Peter was responsible for hosting, delivery, and automation of various projects and infrastructure. Prior to that, Peter worked at BetVictor as a DevOps Engineer, where they managed and restructured PCI compliant infrastructure from January 2016 to November 2016. Peter also has experience as a Web Systems Administrator at Square Enix from July 2011 to January 2016. Peter has held various positions as a System Administrator at different companies including Musketeer Games Ltd., EOS INSTITUTE EC Ltd., Eidos Hungary, Most Wanted Entertainment, Mithis Entertainment, and Marketlink (later Transcom) from 2000 to 2011.

Peter Horvath received a Bsc in Engineering/Technical Management from the University of Obuda, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their GCSE in Software Operator at the Neumann Janos Secondary School of Computer Technology from 1996 to 2000. Peter also obtained a certification from MIM® in 2020.
