Gill Hunter

Gill Hunter is an accomplished legal professional and board member with extensive experience in promoting workplace equity and supporting women in business. Currently serving as a board member for The Lifted Project and the West End Women and Girls Centre, as well as chairing the Workplace Equity Commission at the British Chambers of Commerce, Gill actively advocates for marginalized groups and seeks to enhance opportunities for women. With a strong background in intellectual property and IT law, Gill has held leadership roles including managing partner at Square One Law and vice chair at Disability North, demonstrating a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community support. Gill's professional journey is complemented by an academic foundation in law and geography from Northumbria University and Newcastle University.
