Helen Brain

Helen Brain is a highly experienced legal professional with a specialization in commercial, intellectual property, and IT law. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of the Commercial Team at Square One Law since April 2016, Helen previously held the position of Senior Legal Officer at The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department. The career began as a Pupil Barrister at the Chambers of Christopher Floyd QC, followed by roles including Assistant Barrister at Irwin Mitchell and Senior Associate at K&L Gates. A period of self-employment involved consulting on intellectual property rights. Helen's extensive educational background includes advanced awards and postgraduate diplomas in various legal disciplines from the University of Bristol and Northumbria University, as well as a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physiological Sciences from Newcastle University.
