Zahid Eqbal

Zahid Eqbal has over eight years of experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Manager - Finance & Accounts at Square Yards since March 2015. In this role, Zahid leads financial operations across the UAE and GCC, overseeing compliance with statutory regulations, accounting, banking, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and equity issuances. Previous positions at Square Yards include Assistant Manager Finance, Senior Executive - Finance, and Finance Executive, with responsibilities that encompassed daily accounting and tax reporting. Earlier experience at Anand Buttons Ltd as an Accountant involved similar accounting and finance tasks. Zahid holds a Company Secretary degree from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology.
