Born of a desire to create a unique space for making & learning all things jewellery and metalsmithing, SquarePeg Studios was established in 2011 and is a respected and loved part of the Sydney creative arts scene.

Jewellery artist’s studios and a busy jewellery school, each with dedicated areas under the one expansive warehouse roof, combine to make SquarePeg a hub for the jewellery community.

Our five-star school has long-form courses suited to every level, from beginners to advanced students. In addition, we have a suite of specialist workshops, from favourites we have offered for over ten years to newly developed workshops as we constantly evolve in response to our community.

Jewellery artists occupying the studios’ area benefit from the opportunity to interact with a mix of emerging and established makers in a supportive and creative environment. Some resident artists also teach in the jewellery school.

Several times a year, we open our doors to the public, hosting events like open studios, meet the makers, jewellery markets and artist talks. At these times, we encourage and welcome the community to see what we are all about and experience an energetic and vibrant creative space.
