Ahmed Jamal

Ahmed Jamal is a finance professional with extensive experience in credit markets. Currently serving at Squarepoint Capital since December 2022 as a Fundamental Credit specialist, Ahmed oversees credit primary markets across Europe and the Americas and manages trading discretionary strategies. Previously, Ahmed held the position of Associate Director at HSBC from August 2013 to December 2022, focusing on institutional sales for hedge funds, pension funds, and asset managers, with expertise in various credit products. Earlier roles include analyst positions at Liongate Capital Management and prestigious firms such as Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank, alongside significant involvement in the Imperial College Finance Society. Ahmed holds a Master of Engineering from Imperial College London and completed an Algorithmic Trading Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
