Jean Laurens

Jean Laurens is a skilled software engineer with a strong academic background and diverse industry experience. Currently employed at Squarepoint Capital since October 2019, Jean's previous roles include a visiting student position at Imperial College London where focus was on modular forms and L-functions, and internships as a junior engineer software at MY MINI FACTORY LIMITED, where involvement included developing 3D filters in various programming languages. Additional experience includes serving as a project research assistant at Thales on computer vision projects and a software development trainee at the Ministère de la Défense. Jean holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science from the University of Oxford and has completed studies at École Polytechnique and the Académie militaire de Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan, along with a rigorous mathematical and physical education at Lycée Charlemagne.
