Michael Rabadi

Michael Rabadi is a Quantitative Researcher at Squarepoint Capital since April 2024. Previously, Michael served as President of Just Another Brain LLC, specializing in AI and machine learning consulting, from January 2014 to January 2024. Michael also held the position of Portfolio Manager and Head of Machine Learning at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. from August 2020 to October 2023 and at quantPort from March 2017 to July 2020. An experience in academia includes a role as Adjunct Faculty at Columbia University, focusing on machine learning from August 2018 to August 2019. Michael's early career includes experiences as an ML Engineer and Researcher at Spotify and a Researcher at New York University, along with a summer research stint in neuroscience at Brown University. Michael earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Machine Learning from New York University from 2014 to 2016, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience and Business from the same institution from 2010 to 2014.
