Michelle Marand

Michelle Marand is the Head of Finance at SQUID app, where they hold overall responsibility for the finance function and work closely with management and the board on strategic matters. They have served as an economic consultant at Peakpower AB since 2020, focusing on accounting, reporting, and financial management across various industries. Previously, they gained customer service experience as a store assistant at Maxi ICA Stormarknad Nacka from 2016 to 2020. Michelle has also engaged in volunteer work at the Kawangware Initiative Centre and other local organizations, which sparked their interest in human rights. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Rights from Enskilda högskolan in Stockholm and have completed independent courses in Business Administration and Law at Umeå University.
