Juan Carlos Sarmiento

Juan Carlos Sarmiento has a wealth of work experience, having worked at a variety of companies since 2016. In 2016, they worked as an Analyst at The Cardinal Fund and Charles R. Blyth Fund, as well as an Accounting Intern at Inversiones Amalgadent. In 2017, they worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at INVERLINK, and also held positions as a Research Assistant, Subject Tutor, and Language Conversation Partner at Stanford University. In 2018, they worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs and an Investment Research Spring Intern at Aetos Capital. Finally, in 2022 they began working as a Data Science Lead at Klar, where they had previously been Co-founder at SOMOS, a company they helped acquire in 2019.

Juan Carlos then went on to Stanford University, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management Science and Engineering in 2019. Juan Carlos is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Financial Analytics (MS&E) at Stanford University, which is expected to be completed in 2021.
