Jeroen Sombezki

Jeroen Sombezki is an experienced corporate lawyer currently serving as the Office Managing Partner at Squire Patton Boggs since August 2023. Prior to this role, Jeroen held the position of Lawyer and Partner in Corporate M&A at Van Doorne from November 2015 to September 2023, specializing in (cross-border) mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, and corporate governance, with a focus on mid-market private equity and venture capital transactions in the TMT and online retail sectors. Jeroen's legal career also includes serving as a Senior Associate at Stibbe, where expertise in Dutch corporate law and M&A was developed, and earlier experience at Clifford Chance LLP in acquisition finance and corporate mergers & acquisitions. Jeroen obtained a degree in Dutch law, specializing in corporate and commercial law, from Leiden University.
