Michael Helmer

Michael Helmer is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as a Partner and Deputy Practice Group Leader for Corporate in New York and New Jersey at Squire Patton Boggs since July 2020, Michael previously held the position of Co-Managing Partner at the Short Hills Office of DLA Piper from July 2010 to July 2020. Prior to that, Michael was the Managing Partner for New Jersey at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP from February 2001 to August 2008 and served as a Partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP between 1999 and 2001. Michael holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University.
