Luke Maddams is an experienced horticultural professional with a diverse background in landscaping, garden consultation, and management. Currently serving as Assistant Plant Manager at Squire's Garden Centres since January 2020, Luke previously owned and operated Gardener Luke, offering bespoke garden maintenance and design services from December 2015 to August 2018. Co-founding Red Daffodil, a bespoke landscaping and garden management company, Luke contributed significantly to its growth from 2002 to 2015. Prior roles include Landscape Designer at Starke Ayres Garden Centre, Sales and Design Consultant at Dunrobin Nursery, and Retail Manager/Plant Purchaser at Jungle Garden Nursery. Luke holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Anthropology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Matric exemption in Art History from Durban High School.
