Fran Trentley

Fran Trentley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information technology and security, currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at Squirrel Compliancy Solutions since 2021. Prior to this role, Fran held the position of Vice President at Akamai Technologies from 2006 to 2021, overseeing global security service offerings and managing a large team of over 600 security specialists. Fran also served as Chief Information Officer at the White House Communications Agency from 2001 to 2006, where strategic technical direction and leadership were provided to support the President of the United States after 9/11. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at US Army Pacific, Defense Intelligence Agency, and the US Army, with a focus on command and control systems, operations, and combat readiness. Fran holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Niagara University.
