Osman Anwar is an economist specialising in innovation, business finance, and enterprise development. He is one of the firm's principal leads on innovation work. Osman has extensive experience of economic and policy research, evaluation and impact assessment relating to: business formation and growth, R&D, commercialisation, and economic growth.
Osman has worked with a diverse set of clients: UK Government departments, innovation agencies, devolved administrations, regional development agencies, and international organisations. This includes UK Research and Innovation, Innovate UK, UK Department for Business, UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, British Business Bank and the European Commission.
Through his consultancy work, Osman has had exposure to and worked with a range of venture capitalists, business angels, fund managers, financial institutions, academics, industry experts, and economic development practitioners. His experience has covered projects in finance, aerospace, digital, life sciences, manufacturing, space, technology, creative and other sectors.
