Joaquin Prendes

Joaquin (Jay) Prendes has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Joaquin (Jay) is currently employed at SRT Group as a Bluetooth Product Owner/Senior Team Lead since December 2017. Previously, they were the Founding President/Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Blue Ring Technologies, where they provided engineering services, developed Bluetooth technology, and created embedded systems. Before that, they worked at Motorola as a Senior Embedded System Software Engineer, where they led development teams and worked on low-level programming for mission-critical radio products. Joaquin (Jay) also had a co-internship at IBM, where they developed software tools and performed static code analysis. Early in their career, they worked as a Research Assistant at Florida International University, focusing on alternative computer interfaces and 3D sound technology.

Joaquin Prendes, also known as Jay, pursued their education in Computer Engineering at Florida International University. Joaquin (Jay) completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree from 2001 to 2006. Later, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering & Computing at Florida International University from 2009 to 2012.
