Dirk Gerbes

Dirk Gerbes has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Dirk started their career at Derby Cycle Werke GmbH in 1993 as an Assistent Einkauf-Leiter Disposition, where they managed the supply chain of Asian sourced components and collaborated with different departments during the launch of the Focus bike brand. In 1996, they joined SRAM, LLC, where they held various roles and displayed strong leadership skills. Dirk worked as a Market Manager D/A, overseeing key accounts, managing a team of technical retail representatives, and leading account and assembling wholesaler activities. Dirk then progressed to become a Sales Manager D/A/CH East Europe, where they led and developed an OE sales team, managed selected key accounts, and worked cross-functionally with product management and marketing communications. Following that, Dirk served as a Key Account Manager Europe, creating strategic relationships with international customers and leading cross-functional approaches to key account management. Recently, they have been working as a Senior Key Account Manager, responsible for managing key accounts and contributing to sustained business growth. In April 2022, Dirk started their current role as the Director OE Sales Europe at SRAM, LLC.

Dirk Gerbes obtained a Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur FH degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven from 1990 to 1993. Dirk has not provided any additional certifications.
