Kyle Sternkopf

Kyle Sternkopf began their work experience as an Engineering Intern at Auer Steel & Heating Supply Co., where they performed heat loss calculations and conducted field work and inspections. Kyle then joined Johnson Controls as a Performance Assurance Engineer, where they engaged with clients to perform Measurement and Verification tasks and provided recommendations for optimizing energy performance. Next, Kyle worked at Power Solutions International as a Design/Application Engineer, where they designed components for industrial engines and managed project scopes. Kyle later became the Engineering Manager, leading the Mobile Industrial Engineering team and coordinating product direction. Currently, Kyle is employed at SRAM, LLC, serving as the Team Lead for Electrical and Software Engineering and Firmware Release Manager. In this role, they manage projects, project teams, and release management for embedded firmware delivery. Kyle has also held the position of Project Manager Team Lead for Rear Drivetrain product development projects.

Kyle Sternkopf attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
