Hector Martinez, E.I.T is a systems engineer with a solid background in mechanical engineering and related fields. Currently employed at SRC since May 2019, Hector has also gained experience as a systems engineer associate at Lockheed Martin from June 2017 to April 2019. Earlier roles include a mechanical engineering internship at USDA-ARS in 2016, where Hector focused on the mechanical design of cotton gin stands using CAD. At the Thomas Rivera Center at UTSA, Hector served as a supplemental instruction leader for Algebra-based Physics II, assisting students in becoming independent learners. Prior to these positions, Hector worked as a sales associate at The Home Depot from November 2012 to June 2014. Hector holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio, completed in 2017, and graduated from O'Connor High School in 2013.
